Business Marketing And Strategy: The Meeting Point

Image
If you ask the average Nigerian Entrepreneur starting out in business, "how do you intend to attract customers and drive sales in your business?" You can almost guess what the answer would be. "I'll just hire Marketers who would go out and bring in the sales". They'll mostly respond. Guess what? I can boldly say that the larger percentage of business failure we experience with Nigerian Entrepreneurs could be attributed to this assumption that: Hiring Marketers = Automatic Sales. But here's the thing. Sales in business, and business growth relies solely on 80% STRATEGY, and 20% MARKETING. The 80:20 principle comes alive again. Now, what's the better approach? I'll paint 2 scenarios of how my firm works with our clients and I believe that will make obvious how best you should engage henceforth. 1st Scenario. Sometimes last year, there was this client that spoke to us. They wanted to introduce some new products into the market, and required us to fa...

Leveraging PR, Promotions, Hype & Publicity For Your Brand's Visibility

Hilda Baci The frenzy around Hilda Baci and her recent global achievement is not ready to die off anytime soon. But are you aware that Nigeria has produced about 44 Guinness world record holders before her? Infact Victor Kipo, and his brother, Confidence Kipo have a combined 10 Guinness World Records to their credit. Another dude, Chukwuebuka Ezugha has at least 5 records to his credit. Victor Kipo But why are the other world record holders rarely known? Could it mean that their own achievements were quite inferior? Well, obviously not so. The difference between them all is a unique factor called PR. Yes. The massive PR promotions is what gave Hilda's the raving publicity and the amplified effect. Good PR has a gigantic capability of magnifying a little feat that could have otherwise been ignored. There is NO MORDERN WISDOM in that ancient adage that says, "a good product sells itself". If you are still staying with that adage, you are already lost with the times. Truth i...

Enablers Of Success In Life And Business: A Cue From Hilda Baci's Cookathon & The Guinness World Record.

Image
The Hilda Baci's Cookathon revealed the 4 categories of people that must be in the life of anyone who is on a mission to succeed. These people play very crucial roles in your journey to success. They are: 1. The handlifters Remember the story of how Israelites went in battle against the Amalekites? During the battle, as long as Moses' hand was lifted, the Israelites kept prevailing. But once he grows tired and his hands become weary, they begin to lose the battle. In order to keep his hand lifted, Aaron & Hur had to support the hand(s), and the victory happened in their favour. These categories of people stick close to you as encouragers and pillars to lean on throughout your mission. They include your Coaches and Associates. In Hilda's case, Chef Sunny rightly fit into this mould. An amazing guy who played his role quite perfectly. 2. The Supporters (Support system): You'll notice that leading out of the kitchen where Hilda did her cooking was a foyer that led to o...

Creating The Right First Impression For Business Success

Image
A friend shared with me the story of a particular woman who was bidding for a life-changing contract. This woman did a personal assessment of her present status, and came to the conclusion that despite being professionally and experientially qualified for the job, this contract was far beyond her current status. She knew she had to go out of her way to convince the company in her favour. She resolved to do the unthinkable. Prior to that time, she had been conversing virtually with the company. One of the requirements to finally seal the deal however, is that she had to appear in person to sign all necessary documents. Now, this woman is one you could call "an average earner" in the casual sense of the word. She had two saloon cars to her name - both bought Nigerian used. But to win this particular contract, she made a smart and impressive move. On the day fixed to meet the team to finalize discussions, she hired two exotic cars and two Hilux police vans - to serve as her esco...

HOW AUTOMATION SYSTEMS & ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IS POWERING CHURCH GROWTH & MINISTRY TRANSFORMATION GLOBALLY

Image
Read the story of how Pastor Kingsley is leveraging AI and Automation👇👇 Apostle Kingsley is the pastor of a growing church somewhere around Lekki. He felt belaboured by the much work that goes into keeping the ministry afloat. Asides the fact that the assignment was already taking a toll on his health, he also struggles at finding ways to engage with his congregants.  Despite his best efforts, attendance at Sunday and weekly meetings keep dwindling. On a very good service, his church attendance averages between 54-68. He became worried about the future of his church. But then, he came to discover the power of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its potential for church growth and ministry management. At first, Apostle was skeptical about using AI in his ministry. He worried that it would be impersonal and could never replace the human touch. However, he soon realized that same AI had the potential to transform the way he ran his church, making it more efficient and effective. The fi...
